RULES AND REGULATIONS/

FORMAT/

Round Robin Format
Teams Seeded 1-4 at end of Day
No Games end in tie
Home team always bats last
Even when ahead, Home team must bat to complete the inning
Games: 7 Innings  or 60 Minutes, whichever comes first. Innings may not begin after 50 Minutes.

A maximum of 15 runs will be allowed for each half inning, except for the last inning. 

The game will not continue, if:

  • after 3 innings, one team is leading by 25 or more points.

  • after 4 innings, one team is leading by 15 or more points

  • after 5 innings, one team is leading by 10 or more points.

TIE BREAK PROCEDURE/

  • 2 Way Tie

    • Result of Mutual Game

  • 3 Way Tie   

    • Runs scored minus runs conceded from the mutual games involving the three teams.

    • Least runs allowed from the mutual games.

    • Run Difference: runs scored minus runs conceded from all group games.

    • Least runs allowed from the mutual games.

AWARDS/

Team trophies will be awarded to those schools finishing in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Medals will be awarded to all players on a team finishing in 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th place.
Most Sporting Team trophy for JV and Varsity. 

FOOD AND DRINKS/

Lunch will be provided for teams and coaches. Other refreshments will be on sale throughout the tournament.
All players are advised to bring their own water bottle. 

ACCOMMODATION/

STUDENTS/

Tournament participants and their parents will be informed by their AD as to where they are staying.

PARENTS/

Parents visiting Bonn to watch the games are requested to find alternative accommodation in Bonn or Bad Godesburg. No special rates apply. Examples include:
