WELCOME/

Welcome to St. John’s International School and thank you for joining us for the NECIS Varsity Basketball Tournament. We are honoured to host student-athletes, coaches, and supporters from our visiting schools. This tournament celebrates competitive excellence on the court, sportsmanship, teamwork, and the strong sense of community that defines NECIS. We wish all teams the best of luck and hope your time at STJ is filled with great games, lasting memories, and meaningful connections.

RULES AND REGULATIONS/

Please see the relevant section in the by-laws.

AWARDS/

There will be trophies for each of the top three teams in each of the four divisions.
1st till 4th place teams will receive individual medals.
There will be one trophy for the plate competition winner in each of the four divisions.
There will be one trophy presented to the “Most Sporting Team” in each of the four divisions. The winners of this award will be decided by the tournament officials.
Each team will award one player with a “Most Valuable Player” award. A trophy will be awarded to each of the recipients.

FOOD AND DRINKS/

Lunch will be provided for all teams and coaches.
Our Lion’s Pride (Sports Boosters) will be managing all sales at our concessions. Cash and card are welcome.

ACCOMMODATION/

STUDENTS/

Tournament participants and their parents will be informed by their AD as to where they are staying.

NECIS By-Laws state, parents should not book a stay in the same hotel as their school team hotel.
